I understand before.. standing by him.. hoping that he would be right is not a crime.. but it got to his head and now.. You know the goal of next season is going to be to stop him. It would only make sense.
Now he's a loss. A sad one at that.
It’s not about what he’s become, it’s all about who he was before all of this. Standing by him doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going to rip souls apart with him. Standing by him means doing something to fix him, never leaving him alone because if that happens, then who will be there to remind him of the old self that he was. Standing by him no matter what means loving that character and never forgetting every goodness and every smile he has given us all throughout his appearances in the show just because he made this single mistake regardless of how grave it is. He hasn’t even done anything aside from snapping Rafael into a lasagna so I am keeping my faith into Castiel. Somewhere inside that trench coat is the heart of the angel who was always the funniest angel in the garrison, instead of Uriel.
I just wanna hug god!Castiel and tell him that everything will be fine; we will fix you into the same old lovable,fluffy feathered friend who never went cloud seeding, always rusty with people skills, got his battery drained and took the bus,carved a sigil into his chest to save his friends, and always considered himself to be the Winchesters’ guardian, okay? Your brain’s just all scrambled right now and everyone will think you’ve gone bad, but inside it’s still you, I will never leave you alone. We just have to make you remember the angel you were before you got overwhelmed by all these souls inside you, then everything will be back to normal.

EVERYTIME CAS MENTIONED THE SOULS HE CAN FEEL INSIDE HIM, IT AUTOMATICALLY STUCK TO MY MIND THAT IT’S A METAPHOR PERTAINING TO FANGIRLS.
I believe that Balthazar meant what he said in this scene, that Cas will always have him…but I admit that I saw his death coming. I weep for Balthazar and while we were not able to have ourselves some angel wings… I am not giving up on the possibility that he did not die

I think what’s ultimately creepy about Supernatural is not the monsters or the wendigos… It’s the fact that they take something you believe to be genuine and pure, and turn it into something that you will fear. Even the idea of how they described hell in Season 3, and how the angels were not as cuddly as our parents told us they’d be…
Now they’ve redirected that power to making and transforming a character such as Cas. It is true that they only way to make a big impact on the entire show is him turning dark side. In the previous seasons he was so full of faith in God and everything seemed so pure, but in last night’s finale, he gave me chills in the last 5mins of the show.

I seriously thought he will tear in this part. He looked so helpless and ashamed of himself. He was so drained out of the pride he felt all throughout the beginning of the episode.

I believe part of Dean refuses to believe that Cas will turn dark side because they do share a profound bond despite the fact that we now know that it was also Cas who raised Sam from perdition. One more thing is remember when we saw future!Cas? He lost all his mojo but still he was on Dean’s side. Whether that universe was made up by Zachariah or not, the fact still stays that Cas was still on the right track, angel or not. Dean has seen the different sides of Cas and I think this one is one he can not just stare right in the face.
